Latest Laptop from Dell the Inspiron 1420

Dell’s 1420 has started getting some reviews. The whole concept of getting your own personalized laptop is catching on fast. Sony’s 10th anniversary Vaio had some nice colors, but Dell is keeping it simple with their personalized selection. Even though the color selection may be limited the selection of Intel Processors is not. The base starts with an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5250 1.5GHz and goes all the way to an T7500 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo Processor. I found that you have a chance of getting a Blu Ray disc player as your optical drive choice as nice. If you didn’t feel like breaking the bank to get a new Blu Ray DVD player you can get the Inspiron and send the video signal to your tv.

The Inspiron offers a nice selection of wifi choices for the power user on the go.

Wi-Fi & Mobile Broadband Options:
Dell Wireless 1390 802.11g Mini Card Wireless
Dell Wireless 1490 802.11a/g Mini Card Wireless
Dell Wireless 1505 Wireless-N Mini Card
Intel Pro/Wireless 3945 802.11 a/b/g Mini Card Wireless
Intel 4965AGN Wireless-N Mini Card
Dell Wireless 5520 HSDPA
Dell Wireless 5720 EVDO

There is an optional Bluetooth 2.0 and IR connection, which in my opinion should be standard since many mobile devices use the Bluetooth system to send information. I really like the convience of Bluetooth over actively syncing my data with a USB cable.
